Well I tend to like old fashioned names - the blasts from the past that graced 1950's Australian housewives. e.g. Doris, Mavis (my favourite, Mae for short), Daisy (my Great Auntie's name), and Gladys (or Gladi, another Great Auntie's name). I tried to convince my brother to call his recently born baby Mavis, but unfortunately they had a boy.

I don't think you got my earlier comment...having technical difficulties...

We think Harina is a good name. So the cousin will have rhyming names...Harina and Sarina. What do you think?

Since we're going to stay child-free, you can have my un-daughter's name: Isobel Audrey.

Persephone: the Greek Queen of the Underworld.

I strongly believe that Greek names like this are not just for goth girls any more.
